STARTING A BLOG
So I read many of those 'How to' posts from other bloggers found on Pinterest and I did not listen to a single one. I did not invest in a new camera, write 10 posts before launching my site, and I choose a free web host.
I am a full time student with a full time job. I don't have time to pre-write extra blog posts. I know my chances of being a famous blogger is slim and I am fine with that. It's not so much about success as it is sharing my experiences and hoping somehow I can help someone else out.
So here is one of the main reasons for my blog, when I first started hiking and wanting to get into backpacking I was lost. I surfed the Internet for helpful reviews on the best clothes, gear, and trails and came up with very little. So I went to REI, spent a lot of money, and learned just because it is at REI does not mean it is right for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE REI, but I was in over my head. So, on my blog, I want to give detailed reviews of EVERYTHING! The good, the bad, and the ugly. Don't worry, I'll warn you about the ugly beforehand.
